Q4 2023 Brazil Dance Games Report: A Sensor Tower Analysis

As the year wrapped up, Sensor Tower has been closely monitoring the performance of dance game applications in Brazil. Our analysis for the fourth quarter of 2023 reveals interesting trends in user engagement and app popularity.

Just Dance Now, published by Ubisoft, showed a noteworthy increase in weekly revenue, climbing from $3K in the last week of September to over $5K by Christmas. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at nearly 15K in late October and around Christmas. Weekly active users saw a dip in mid-October to roughly 21K but rebounded to over 28K by the end of December.

Coco Play's Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop experienced minimal revenue, with a spike of $42 in mid-November but zero revenue in the last week of that month. Downloads peaked at over 5K in early November, while weekly active users gradually declined from 32K to 18K throughout the quarter.

Another Coco Play title, Ice Skating Ballerina, saw modest revenue figures, peaking at $43 in early November. The game's downloads showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 2.5K in the final week. Weekly active users started at 3.7K and ended slightly higher at 4.7K.

The performance of Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys was relatively stable with negligible revenue throughout the quarter. Downloads had a notable surge to 896 in early November but fell to 16 by the year's end. Active users hovered around 5.8K to 6.3K before decreasing to just under 5K.

Lastly, Acrobat Star Show did not generate revenue after early October. Downloads, however, increased over the quarter, with a notable peak of 104 in late November. Weekly active users remained under 1K, ending the quarter with 805 active users.
